MBA Dual Credit Program
The dual credit program allows undergraduate Scott College of Business students to take graduate level courses during their senior year. The intent of the program is to give these students the opportunity to satisfy up to six credit hours (two courses) toward the MBA program curriculum by allowing them to take the graduate level equivalent (500 level) of their regularly planned senior level (400 level) courses.
For example, if a senior is planning to take FIN 400, this program allows the student to take FIN 500 (the graduate level equivalent) instead. As long as the student receives a grade of “B” or higher, the course will count as an elective on the student’s MBA program of study.
In order to qualify for participation in the dual credit program, a student must:
- Be a Scott College of Business major;
- Have senior standing or earned at least 91 credit hours; and
- Have a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Student need not enter the MBA program straight after graduating as these dual credit courses are valid for up to seven years.
Students, contact your advisor or Graduate Programs if you are interested in this program.
