Networks Program

The Networks Program at Indiana State is designed to help professionally elevate any business major who intends to pursue careers in the financial services industry. Those accepted into the program receive a full scholarship, weekly seminars, opportunities to travel abroad, job development, a corporate mentor, leadership roles in planning the Ethics Conference and much more. Each year you are in the program you are taking steps towards learning how to work in a team and a corporate environment. Students who have gone through this program have landed jobs with Rolls-Royce, Kraft-Hines, Ernst and Young, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and many more.

Student Profile: Jacob Kissick

If he had it to do all over again, Jacob Kissick, an insurance and risk management major and Networks Scholar from Cambridge City, Indiana, would live the sea life. "My idea of perfect happiness is lying in a hammock on a cool summer night by a lake. I would have my best friends around me and the smell of s’mores in the air. Oh, and my dog would be lying in the hammock with me."

Kyle Varble ’17, Lands Prestigious Management-track Job

One-on-one attention helped Kyle Varble ’17, land a prestigious management-track job at Rolls-Royce right after graduation. Kyle, who graduated with a degree in operations and supply chain management, interned at the company between his junior and senior years, thanks to several connections between Rolls-Royce and the university.
One of the people who helped Kyle start his career was Kuntal Bhattacharyya, an associate professor of operations and supply chain management and the director of the Center for Supply Management Research. Kuntal is one of many faculty members who take a personal interest in their students' success — in the classroom and in their careers.
