Patrons: Elston Family
The Parable of the Talents Sycamore Business Advisors Conference Room (FD120) was named by the Elston Family (Terry, Melodie, Chad, Chase, Kristin and Kaidin). The gift from Terry and Melodie was given in recognition of the strong influence Indiana State had on the growth and leadership development of their daughter, Kristin.
The Parable of the Talents is one of the parables (Matthew 25:14-30); encouraging each person to take what they have been given, work to the best of their ability and to serve others in a selfless manner.
While at Indiana State, Kristin pursued dual degrees in business management and business administration. She was a scholar in the Networks Financial Institute Professional Development Program, which provided her with invaluable mentoring and professional development experiences. Kristin also received the Doris D. Green Memorial Scholarship in 2007, 2008, and 2009, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010.
