Criteria
- Recipient must be an Insurance and Risk Management major
- Recipient must be enrolled full time and maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale
- Recipient must possess a strong moral character
Donor Profile
Gerald Smith was a promising insurance and risk management major senior, who was reported missing on May 1, 2009, the day before he was due to graduate. The scholarship in his name was set up on May 13, with initial funding comes from a portion of the money donated for a reward fund.
