Paul Merton Stanley, Jr. Developing Leader Scholarship
Criteria
This scholarship exists to aid students within the Scott College of Business.
Eligible students will be:
- United States citizens
- Have a declared major in the Scott College of Business
- Enrolled full-time students at the sophomore, junior, or senior level -Graduating seniors are not eligible.
- Have a cumulative GPA between 2.75 and 3.75.
- Preference may be given to students from the Wabash Valley that demonstrate financial need and are actively involved in the community and/or student organizations.
Finalists will be interviewed by a scholarship committee. Applicants must submit a one-page document explaining their need to receive this scholarship and their previous leadership and volunteer experience. Upon receipt of the scholarship, students must participate in at least one Scott College of Business student organization each semester.
Recipients may not be members of the Stanley family nor have a prior familial relationship with the Stanleys.
Donor Profile
As a graduate of ISU’s Scott College of Business, Paul Stanley established two endowed scholarships for the college, the Paul Merton Stanley, Jr. MBA Endowed Scholarship and Paul Merton Stanley, Jr. Developing Leader Scholarship. These two funds positively impact generations of Sycamore students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in business.
